Düsseldorf / Germany – 15.01.2016 – Criminal defence lawyer, Dr. Rademacher – against the extradition to Belgium due to an European arrest warrant - German Federal Constitutional Court annulled ruling of the Higher Regional Court in Düsseldorf.
Our constitution complaint was successful. By order of 15 January 2016 (2 BvR 1860/15) the Federal Constitutional Court annulled the prior decision of the Higher Regional Court in Düsseldorf, which had previously declared the extradition of a German national to Belgium admissible based on the European arrest warrant.
